CHECK IT OUT

Billy Folsom was always my first choice to be the first guest on "ON POINT", and I wasn't wrong. Billy was great! As a Costa Mesa City employee, he talked about what has gone wrong in that city that he clearly loves. He names names and gives the problematical history of the city council's recent behavior, and how it is changing the city and the citizens. He talks about how important Wendy Leece and Katrina Foley have been in city politics among other interesting observations.

Meet Billy Folsom

1st Guest

Wendy has served on the Newport Mesa School Board and has just termed out as a Costa Mesa Councilwoman. Wendy is now running for Congress against Dana Rohrobacher for a seat in the 48th District which includes Sunset Beach, Huntington Beach, Midway City, parts of Westminster, Fountain Valley, parts of Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Beach, and Laguna Niguel.

WENDY LEECE

Rush Hill is a life-long resident of Orange County. His interesting resume includes living on a farm in Tustin...imagine that, a farm in Tustin! He graduated Tustin High School, B.A. Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and has been an architect based in Newport for years.  He spent four years as an advisor and Special Assistant to Governor Reagan. Rush has served many diverse clients which includes the State of California, school districts, colleges and non-profit organizations as well as corporations.

Rush is now our mayor with interesting ideas for Newport Harbor. In this inteview he talks about one of his favorite topics ...water taxis!  Believe me this is everything you ever wanted to know about water busses, and Uber taxis!!

Take a peek!

Because the teachers are afraid of retribution, they chose not to reveal their names. They not only talk about BENEFITS, but also about the some inequities that they see in the district.

MEET TEACHER A AND TEACHER B

Because part 1 was interrupted by "operator error", we continued on with Teacher A who has a lot of interesting things to say....

MEET IMAM JAMAAL DIWAN!

After the violence in France, the beheadings by Issis, and the violence all over the world, I decided that instead of listening to and watching the media, I decided to take ON POINT on the road to the Islamic Center in Irvine. Imam Jamaal Diwan agreed to be interviewed and so here are the three interviews. I found the Imam to be honest and very likeable.

Fast forward to January 27 of this year. John asked the Orange County Superior Court to release documents that he argues are public. A few days later he was fired.
